Town Meeting

Vermont Town Meeting Day is the first Tuesday in March.  Citizens come together to discuss and vote on the business of our small mountain town.  For over 200 years, Town Meeting Day has been an important political event as Vermonters elect local officials and decide on budgets.  It is also a time for neighbors to discuss the civic problems and issues of our community that we face collectively.

Town Meeting was March 4, 2024 and our Local Election was March 5, 2024
