We will be testing the vote tabulator memory cards on Thursday, Oct. 4, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Town Office. This is a routine procedure before all elections, and anyone is invited to observe the process. This is to prepare for the Nov. 6, 2018 General Election.
Town Meeting ballot petitions are due by Jan. 29th (but appreciated sooner!), and require 11 signatures along with a completed consent form. Ask Town Clerk, Sally Ober, for details: (802)453-2980.
On Friday, October 28, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., the town clerks will be conducting the test run for our vote tabulator machine, in preparation for the November 8th election. We originally warned this to happen at the Library, but have changed the location to be at Burnham Hall.
Ballots are available for the November 8, 2016 General Election. Please submit your absentee ballot requests to the Town Clerk now, or you may come to the office to vote early, during regular office hours.
The deadline to submit a nominating petition to run for a town office position is Monday, January 25, at 5:00 p.m. Petitions must contain signatures of at least 10 Lincoln registered voters. A consent of candidate form is also required, in order to place your name on the ballot for the March 1, 2016 election. Absentee ballots are available now at the Town Office. Polling hours on June 9th will be from 7am to 7pm.
