Grimes Road in Lincoln is closed due to a large culvert washout at the intersection of Grimes Road and Ripton Road. Please remember NEVER to drive through water on the road, because you can’t tell how deep it will be and whether the road underneath you will collapse. If you encounter water on the road, be safe and turn around.
Lower Colby Hill from #390 to Atkins Road will be closed Mon., May 13-Fri., May 17 during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

he Vergennes Union High School (VUHS) annual senior benefit walk-a-thon will begin at the Jerusalem corners Store on October 15 and wend its way from South Starksboro to Lincoln via Downingsville Road to Quaker Street, North on Quaker Street to Zeno Road finally arriving at Zeno Mountain Farm. All proceeds from this event will benefit Zeno Mountain F
Milling to remove the top layers of asphalt on Quaker street from Downingsville Road to Elder Hill will begin first thing in the morning of Wednesday, October 3 and will continue until late afternoon. The entire process will take about two days. Please anticipate delays and pay close attention to traffic controllers on the project. STAY ALERT !
Repaving this section of roadway is anticipated to begin shortly after the milling is complete and the surface has been re-shaped to facilitate good drainage
