Town of Lincoln
The Town of Lincoln seeks applicants to fill the position of
Zoning Administrator. The Zoning Administrator is responsible for administration
and enforcement of the Town’s duly adopted governing By-laws. He/she will
examine and process applications for permits and issue permits where the
application is consistent with by-laws. She/he will call meetings of the Zoning
Board of Adjustment (ZBA) when required. He / she will make certain that applicable
state statutes are strictly adhered to including posting of meeting/hearing
notices and maintaining and distributing notices including meeting minutes.
Organizational skill is essential. Familiarity with the town
and community of Lincoln is desirable. Experience in Vermont zoning is a plus.
Must be able to attend night meetings and organize site visits in sometimes
Part time work averaging 6-10 hours per week. Salary will be
commensurate with experience.
